Use Furniture to Define Rooms 

Even with an open floor plan, you still want to define your spaces for living. With thoughtful furniture arranging, you can easily create the illusion that there are separate areas of your home yet still have the perk of your home feeling open. Below are a few tips for achieving this.

#1 Rugs Are Your Best Friend 

Rugs a beautiful thing for home design. They work great for adding a pop of color to any room but they are also great for tieing any room together! #2 Use Furniture to Create Walkways

It's important to create a focal point in each area so the room does not feel cluttered. Without a focal point, there is nothing to grab your eyes attention causing the open floor plan to be overwhelming.
