When you have guests over, whether it's only a couple times a year or often, you want to make sure that they are comfortable during their stay. Don't Skimp on the Guest Room Bed 

One of the best ways you can make your guests feel the most comfortable is to make sure the bed is comfortable. One of the biggest complaints guests typically make is not getting a good nights sleep. More times than not, the reason your guests don't get a great nights sleep is because of the mattress. If you wouldn't want to sleep on the guest mattress, chances are your guests won't either! Don't Forget About Comfortable Bedding

In addition to a great mattress, don't forget to add a nice bedding set. Always make the bed with comfortable sheets, a cozy bedspread, and have extra blankets on hand in case they are needed.

Even though your guests will likely only spend a short amount of time in your home, it's important to have a dresser in the guestroom. Many people like unpacking their clothes to help them keep organized and avoid their clothes from getting wrinkled. Providing your guests with a dresser will keep your guests from having to live out of their suitcase and stay organized.

Add an Accent Chair 

Having a comfy accent chair in your guest room isn't a necessity but it's certainly a nice touch! Guest will have a place to relax if they need to take a break and an accent chair also adds a nice decorative element to the space.

If you've done any kind of traveling before you know that it never fails that you forget to pack something essential. We suggest that you keep a few items on hand so your guests won't have to make a trip to the store if they forgot something. Create a cute basket of goodies and put on the top of the dresser. A few items we suggest putting in the basket include - toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, lotion, chapstick, hairspray, brush, soap, shampoo/conditioner, makeup wipes, and water bottles.
