Independence Day Home Preparations

4th of July is right around the corner! It’s the perfect time for gatherings and parties with friends and family. But is your home ready? If you’re hosting an Independence Day party and need to get your home in gear, we have some great ideas as the best furniture company around!



Getting your home set up and ready for the festivities can be as simple as adding some fun patriotic accessories like red, white, and blue pillows and string lights. No matter how many guests you are having over for the 4th of July, you can achieve the best party ambience and gathering space with a few tips from the experts!

Seating


It is ideal to have ample seating options for your guests! A sectional is a great option if you prefer one piece that can act as focal point in your living room. You can always add an accent chair or ottoman if you need more seating for guests, inside.

Make sure your backyard also has plenty of seating! This can include at your outdoor dining table, benches, and even hammocks! Make sure to arrange all seating in a way that evokes mingling!

Outdoor Entertainment

This is the fun part! First, make sure there is music on when your guests arrive. Make sure that there are plenty of things to do when they get there. The fourth of July is a celebration of our country’s freedoms so make it a party! Set out activities such as cornhole to encourage people to have fun and interact with each other, stress-free!

Set out a table full of snacks and drinks, even if you do plan on grilling a meal! This way, everyone can help themselves, which also benefits the host! But make it 4th of July themed, with red, white, and blue tablecloth, cutlery, plates, cups, and other table decorations!

Set out a “favor table” with sparklers, hats and masks for pictures, and other items that bring in all night celebration vibes!

If you have enough room, consider even showing off your own fireworks display! Your guests will be wanting to come back every year.

Home decorations make or break a good 4th of July celebration! Get patriotic balloons, streamers, and banners! If you have a pool, decorate the pool with red, white, and blue pool floats and glow sticks!
